Grounds & Custodial Services

Ka Lima O Maui’s Grounds and Custodial Services constitute the agency’s largest department, providing training and employment for over 65 adults with disabilities. We have 17 work crews out daily, 365 days a year, at over 80 locations. Some start as early as 3 a.m. , and others work until 5 p.m. They serve Central, South, West, and Upcountry Maui.

Our biggest contract with the County of Maui requires daily services to many of Maui’s most popular beach parks and swimming pools. In addition, we provide daily services to fire and police stations. We also proudly serve federal and state facilities such as TSA at the airport and the Department of Commerce and Consumer Affairs office. Finally, we also provide services to many private businesses across the island, from Iao Parkside in Wailuku to Maui Ku’ia Estate Chocolate in Lahaina.
